She is also Vice Chair person of International Telecommunications Forum. Alpna, with over two decades of experiences in Information, Communication, and Entertainment industries, and other Industry domain, is driving key IT Transformational Initiatives to support Business growth for Reliance.

Alpna has been well known for her skilled execution, turning around companies and thought leadership with excellent people management skills. Her 360 degree Management style uniquely stands out in the Telecom and IT industries worldwide, where she has effectively broken through the glass ceiling and is a globally recognized, accomplished and result oriented leader. She has been implementing cutting edge technology, improving process and productivity. She has strived to improve company baselines through innovative Products and Open source software. An active contributor to TM Forum for over a decade, she is the Vice Chair person of TM Forum Board of Directors. TM Forum is the world's leading industry association focused on enabling best-in-class IT for service providers in the Communications, Media and Cloud Service markets. She is an active contributor in directing Standards for multinationals including DAVIC (video consortium), ATM Forum, IPv6, IEEE and CSI.
